StableComfort Cushioned Stall Mats
StableComfort is a patented, waterproof, multi-celled cushioning stall mattress system that provides cushioning equivalent to at least 6 inches of bedding. Rubber-filled mattresses are placed wall-to-wall in the stall and topped with a durable, one-piece cover securely fastened to the walls, creating a full-coverage, waterproof cushioned flooring system.
The StableComfort system offers numerous advantages over traditional stall mat products. The exceptional cushioning significantly reduces or eliminates stocking up and hock sores, as well as greatly diminishes the risk of most musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
Additionally, the enhanced cushioning improves comfort and helps ensure that horses achieve the necessary REM sleep. The 3-inch thick mattress creates a thermal barrier, alleviating arthritic joint discomfort. The one-piece moisture-proof cover is easy to clean and helps reduce dust and ammonia odors.
The StableComfort system is compatible with any type of bedding. Its moisture-proof cover and superior cushioning can reduce bedding needs by as much as 80%, while halving daily clean-out times. Unlike multi-piece stall mat systems, a StableComfort-equipped stall does not require periodic mat removal for cleaning and disinfecting.
For many years, the StableComfort system has been a leader in cushioned stall flooring technology. This innovative design can be adapted to virtually any size stall and can be installed over any flat subsurface. The non-abrasive, textured cover minimizes the risk of slipping, even with snow-packed or wet hooves.
The StableComfort system is available in both standard and premium versions. The standard kits utilize multi-celled mats filled with uniformly sized recycled rubber crumb, while StableComfort Premium includes an additional foam layer for enhanced cushioning and comfort. Both versions feature the same rubber-coated, waterproof top cover.
StableComfort products are manufactured in Canada and can be shipped anywhere in North America by common carrier. Up to three 12′ x 12′ stall kits can be packaged onto a single pallet.
