Walk-A-Sured. I know what you are thinking… what a terrible name. True, but this product may be one of the most useful anti-slip treatments to hit the market in a long time. Walk-A-Sured is a product that Diamond Safety Concepts has been trying to find for many years. It is a durable, epoxy, anti-slip coating with an very unique feature. Unlike any of the other anti-slip coatings that we offer, Walk-A-Sured is clear as water. It does not significantly alter the appearance of the subsurface to which it has been applied.
We offer several other highly effective anti-slip coatings such as Ultra-Tuff, a rubberized paint with rubber granules in the mix and Convoy Anti-slip Coatings, which are water-based or epoxy coatings with hard traction enhancing granules. While these products work extremely well, the are opaque and hide the appearance of the subsurface to which they have been applied. This is not the case with Walk-A-Sured.
Walk-A-Sured is a great option for improving slip resistance while letting the beauty of the subsurface show. This product can be installed on a wide variety of flooring materials including, ceramic tile, terrazzo, natural stone, concrete, wood, vinyl and even glass. The certified coefficients of friction, (COF), meet or exceed all common standards.
