Introducing PopLock Decking Tile
The highly anticipated PopLock Decking Tile has finally been released. PopLock Decking Tile is the latest in a series of recycled rubber flooring products being offered by Diamond Safety Concepts, which feature the patent-pending PopLock interlocking edge connection design.
Coming on the heels of the successful introduction of the 1″ thick PopLock Sports tile and the PopLock Equestrian tile, the new Decking Tile is expected to be one of the most popular rubber flooring products designed for exterior use on rooftop decks, terraces and patios.
This 24″ x 24″ x 1 3/8″ product features an array of circular “feet” on the base which create robust drainage channels. The unique PopLock interlocking edge connection system simplifies the installation process and eliminates the need for the use of adhesive or mechanical fasteners.
The patent pending interlocking edge design works in a way that is reminiscent of that used in some common zip-to-close resealable plastic bags. On each edge of the PopLock Decking Tiles, there is an oval-shaped male ridge or a similarly shaped female groove. When these components are pressed together, a strong, shift resistant edge connection is created. These tiles can be joined together or separated in seconds, over and over again.
In anticipation of strong demand for this product for use in architectural applications, a selection of new earth tone colors featuring mixtures of grays, browns and tans, have been added to the PopLock color palette. More are on the way.
